Can I use this if I have had a C-section?

Yes, you can use Spritz for Bits, Soak for Bits and Fantastic Skin Elastic if you have had a C-section. Spritz for Bits offers the same benefits for your caesarean scar as for your vulva and perineal/anal areas. The essential oils it contains can help to relieve itching, stinging and discomfort, and also help moisturise C-section scars. For Soak for Bits, make sure that your dressing has been removed and that your C-section wound is undergoing the normal healing process. The unique blend of natural ingredients in Fantastic Skin Elastic is perfect for C-section scar massage to help reduce the appearance and texture of your scar – you can start massaging your scar once your wound has healed, approximately 6 weeks post-birth. Will this interfere with my stitches?

How often can I use these products?

You can used Spritz for Bits as often as you feel the need to, once your dressing has been removed and the wound is closed. You can spray it onto your wound or make your own wipe by spraying it onto a tissue and applying as often as needed. This can soothe the general itching which is a normal sign of healing. Soak for Bits can be used in your daily bath once your dressing has been removed and your C-section wound is undergoing the normal healing process. Approximately 6 weeks after your C-section, your wound should be fully closed and healed and this is the optimal time to start massaging your scar daily with Fantastic Skin Elastic.

Can I use Soak for Bits in a sitz bath?

You can use Soak for Bits in a sitz bath by reducing the amount of product you put into your sitz bowl. We would recommend using a quarter to half a handful of the product in the usual sized sitz bowl.

Can I use epsom salts if I am breastfeeding?

Yes, it is safe to use Epsom salts in your bath if you are breastfeeding.
